Sales Operations Manager
Warren, NJ
The Sales Operations Manager will work directly under the VP of Sales to support sales leaders and sales teams with timely analysis and insight and in developing and executing strategies to exceed revenue targets and enable the sales organization. This individual will establish and execute training programs, and provide a great deal support for the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitor and maintain high level of quality, accuracy, and process consistency, analyze and report results to support informed, fact-based business decisions to drive improved performance and results across sales department
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sales tooling, processes and automation
- Partner with the sales and marketing teams to understand the business and sales challenges.
- Work on creating the ideal KPI and quota system for the sales team based on historical data
- Manage and maintain reporting of Salesforce.com metrics and reports
- Create and maintain compensation & commission plans
- Onboard and train all new sales hires
- Develop sales leadership dashboards, PPT presentations, etc., to communicate results in a brief and easy to understand manner
Requirements:
- 4 – 6 years of relevant sales operations experience.
- Self-starter attitude with excellent communication skills- someone who can initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
- Balance between attention to detail and swift execution
- Knack to analyze trends and make recommendations to the sales organization
- Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
- Creative problem-solver who can manage multiple project with ease and finesse
- Passion for high-growth, marketplace business and desire to contribute to the growth of the company
- BA/BS/Masters in Economics, Business, Engineering, or another quantitative field
- Fluent understanding of modern Sales methodologies and processes
- Mastery of Salesforce.com with the ability to generate reports and dashboards effortlessly
- Significant experience communicating with Executive Leadership and ability to clearly and simply communicate insights garnered from complex analyses
- Understanding of best practices for forecasting and track record for providing accurate and timely forecasts
