Job: Automation Engineer
Job Summary:
Our ideal candidate will be creating test automation for features implemented in our cloud version of Vendor Risk Manager,
and collaborate with other departments such as Product Management and Technical support to ensure testing aligns with our customer workflows and process.

Responsibilities:
* Participating in design and architectural discussion
* Analyze complicated software systems and develop automated test solutions
* Work closely with development to facilitate unit test and integration and ensuring extensive unit test code coverage
* Being capable of building, deploying and managing own environment (customizing when required)
* Excellent debugging skills
* Developing quality automation code and tools and maintaining the same
Requirements:
* 2+ years of software QA testing experience or development experience for web, mobile, or desktop applications
* Experience programming in 2 or more modern programming languages
* Solid foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms, programming paradigms like OOP, Functional, etc
* Knowledge of at lease one scripting language JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, etc
* Knowledge of at least one relational database (e.g. PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL) and/or at least one NoSQL database (e.g. MongoDB, REdis, Azure noSQL, etc.)
Additional Preferences (Nice to have but not obligatory):
* Knowledge of CI systems (e.g. TeamCity, Bamboo, Jenkins) and using them for automated deployment and automated tests
* Knowledge and Experience with one or more of various Unit Testing Frameworks for NodeJS
* Knowledge and Experience with one or more Commercial or Open Source QA Automation software in Desktop/Web/Mobile space e.g. HP UFT, Ranorex, Sikuli, Selenium, Appium, Calabash etc.
* Experience in Performance and Load testing using Jmeter, Load UI, Microsoft Load Test Tools, Etc.
* Familiar with one of the cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, Google App Engine)
